RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Plans, designs and implements an overall risk management process for the organization
  • Responsible for the risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business
  • Responsible for the risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating previous handling of risks
  • Establishes and quantifies the organization’s 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
  • Makes risk reports to the board of directors so they understand the most significant risks, to the managers to ensure they are aware of the risks relevant to their parts of the business and to the individuals to understand their accountability for individual risks
  • Responsible for the corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
  • Provides support, education and training to the staff to build risk awareness within the organization
  • Conducts internal audits together with the audit team

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or Finance and Accounting
  • 3+ years of Big 4 experience, or 3+ years in internal audit function, or 3+ years on similar duties within the telecommunication industry
  • Ideal candidate is with engineering/IT background with experience in Big 4 or internal audit function
  • Certificates ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CIA are considered as advantage
  • Proficient English, written and spoken
  • Willing to study and work on personal and professional development within the Internal Audit
  • Swift, flexible, able to work under pressure and on tight deadlines, with high personal standards, loyal to organization’s values and principles
