In Bulgaria, we have under development, construction and operations renewable projects with more than 120MW total installed capacity.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to lead the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of renewable energy power plants, including wind farms, solar PV plants, BESS and associated substations and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning activities
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Oversee electrical design reviews, grid connection studies, and technical compliance
• Coordinate with TSOs/DSOs, EPC contractors, O&Ms, consultants, and authorities
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, technical standards, HSE regulations, and permits
• Lead commissioning, testing, energization, and handover to operations
• Manage operation & maintenance (O&M) strategies, performance monitoring, and asset optimization
• Troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues during construction and operation
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical approvals
• Support contract management, claims, and variation control
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance across the asset lifecy
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, or substations
• Proven project management experience in wind, solar, and/or HV/MV substations
• Strong knowledge of:
• Electrical power systems (HV/MV/LV)
• Grid integration and protection systems
• SCADA and monitoring systems
• International and local electrical standards
• Experience working with EPC contractors and utility companies
• Solid understanding of HSE and quality management systems
• Driving license
Skills & Competencies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Commercial and contractual awareness
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Experience in RES asset management and performance optimization
• Knowledge of local permitting and grid connection processes
