Job Title: Data Coordinator

Location:Hybrid: Sofia/Remote Reporting to: Data Protection Officer (DPO) Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

The Data Coordinator plays a central operational role in supporting the Data Protection Program at Vivacom by managing and coordinating the operational activities of the Data Champions network. This role ensures smooth execution of data protection – related tasks. While not a data privacy expert, the Data Coordinator must understand the operational aspects of data protection, data governance and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Data Champions Network coordination: Organize, support, and monitor the activities of Data Champions across departments, ensuring alignment with data protection, data governance, and compliance objectives
• Operational Support for data subject requests: Review incoming data subject requests (DSRs), coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information, and track the progress of responses to ensure timely and compliant resolution
• Data processing register supervision: Oversee the accuracy and completeness of data processing registers and inventories maintained by Data Champions
• Daily Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for operational matters related to the Data Protection Program, escalating strategic or complex issues to the DPO
• Tracking & Reporting: Maintain dashboards or logs of ongoing data-related activities, including DSRs, updates in the register, and departmental compliance actions
• Training & Guidance: Provide basic guidance and support to the Data Champions on operational procedures and tools related to the data protection program

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in operational roles involving cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree
• Basic understanding of data protection principles and regulatory requirements (training will be provided)
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets, tracking tools, and documentation platforms
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
