Participants are playing for an LG plasma TV set and plenty of other prizes

All users of the BTC fixed and mobile phone services can test their knowledge of Bulgaria by answering questions and winning prizes in BTC's game Do You Know Bulgaria which will be on until the end of this month.

To join the game, one needs to send a text message to short number 1000 or call 09005100 from a fixed line and answer questions about Bulgaria. Once he gets registered, a participant starts getting questions on a variety of topics, including geography, history, sport and music.

Sample questions: who is the supreme commander-in-chief of the Bulgarian army; what is the year of establishment of the First Bulgarian State, or; which Bulgarian city has a dolphinarium.

A participant is offered two possible answers to choose from. The users of the mobile service have to show the right answer by returning an SMS with its number (1 or 2) in a message to a short number 1000. Participants with a fixed telephone answer by pressing 1 or 2 to indicate the correct answer.

Every day, five participants who have given the correct answer to one or more questions will participate in a raffle for 140 daily prizes (a cap with the BTC logo). The one who had the correct answers to 7 questions has a chance to get one of 4 weekly prizes - 42'' LG Plasma TV.

The more correct answers a player sends in, the bigger his chance to win in the daily or weekly prize raffle. A player automatically gets 50 points with his registration and each correct answer carries a further 20 points. Players can earn extra points for speed if they go to the Bonus Zone: they get 100 (one hundred) points for each correct answer they give in less than 30 minutes.

When they give the correct answers to a set number of questions, players are entitled to bonus points for a BG Gold question (which carries 1 000 points for correct answer). A player is entered for the raffle as many times as the points earned allow. Thus a player who has answered correctly a question from the Bonus Zone or a BG Gold question, increased by 100 or by 1 000, respectively, his participations in the daily or weekly raffle.

Sending a text message to short number 1000 or calling 09005100 is charged BGN 1.20 after VAT.
