(08.04.09) BTC facelifts its shops and opens new outlets in key locations
CEO Bernard Moscheni serves first customers in new BTC shop on Vitosha Boulevard
Today, April 8, BTC's CEO Bernard Moscheni inaugurated the company's new shop at 86 Vitosha Blvd. and himself served the first customers. In a demonstration sale for the staff, Moscheni sold a Gold 60 pack, the new vivatel subscription plan.
The shop on Vitosha Boulevard is the newest customer centre of BTC. More centres will open at prime locations in Rakovski and Graf Ignatiev streets in Sofia and in key places in Stara Zagora, Burgas, Blagoevgrad and other regional capitals. All new shops reflect the company's corporate identity and have a uniform interior design. The company's largest landmark shop in the Telephone Palace of Sofia has recently been refurbished to meet these standards.
A total of 41 shops sporting the new image opened countrywide between the end of 2008 and March of this year. Fifty-six more BTC centres are slated for a facelift by the year's end. In addition, 20 shops are to be built from scratch. BTC's shops are situated in the main streets, in malls and chain stores like METRO, Kaufland and Billa in all towns and cities.
The main advantage of BTC shops is that they offer the full portfolio of telecommunications services - Internet, mobile and fixed line telephone services - a real symphony of telecommunications services, Bernard Moscheni said at the opening of the shop on Vitosha Boulevard. To mark the event, the company had invited a young, talented string quartet from the Lubomir Pipkov National Music School that performed classical pieces.
The remodelling and repositioning of BTC's retail network is part of the strategy for improving customer service. The first step is to introduce a uniform colour scheme in the shops using BTC's corporate colours, white and orange. By the year's end the refurbished outlets will feature a new, contemporary, customer-friendly design. The work equipment is being modernized to create an ergonomic, cosy and pleasant environment. The interior is characterized by more open space and enables customers to test the goods and services offered.
The new shops offer a wider range of products and services. In addition to the full portfolio of telecommunications services, the shops sell the latest models of mobile and landline phones and quality accessories at competitive prices.
For a month after each new shop opens, a special promotional offer is available to customers. Everyone who activates a BTC service in the shop (a new ADSL service, a telephone plan or a vivatel subscription plan) receives an OPA! start pack. One customer who buys a BTC service during that period will get a special prize - a plasma TV set.
