(06.07.09) After the finals of the 2009 national streetball championships for the vivatel cup

18 teams of 12 cities played in the finals of the national streetball championships for the vivatel cup in the Fridtjof Nansen Boulevard in central Sofia. Following is the list of winners:

A special tournament was organized for the media people where the teams of TV channels MSAT and TV7 fell proudly to a mixed team of Express, Telegraf and the Bulgarian National Television.

All finalists took gold medals and prizes provided by vivatel. Rappers Bobo&DVD made sure the audience was in the right mood for the finals.

The prestigious national streetball championships for the vivatel cup was held for the third time by vivatel and the Bulgarian Basketball Federation, with the audiences getting bigger every year. This year's edition saw 687 teams and a total of 2 061 players aged 13 to 18. Regional tournaments were held in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Vidin, Montana, Blagoevgrad, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Targovishte, Yambol and the Black Sea resort of Albena.
