The third edition of the festival is organized with the support of BTC Group

For third consecutive year, the municipality at the town of Lovech organizes the traditional music festival (May 6-11). Bulgarian and international artists are going to participate in the fest. This year the event will be named Lovech Party Fest 2008 and the music styles will be more varied than ever. The stage will bring together Dr. Alban, Ace of Base, Ja Rule, Maxi Jazz (from Faithless), Twisted Sister and W.A.S.P. The popular Bulgarian artists Rumanetsa & Enchev, Upsurt, P.I.F, Renegat and Solaris are going to warm up the international stars during the fest.

Just like the previous editions, this year's festival will be free of charge for the music fans. The organizers expect the Bulgarian president Georgi Parvanov to arrive as official guest at the event, again. Co-organizers are Foundation "Krasiv Lovech", Advertising and PR agency A-team and Joker Media. BTC Group is general partner of the festival.

The music fest was first organized in 2006 under the name Lovech Rock Fest 2006 and with the participation of Opus, Smokie, Slade, Sweet, Nazareth and Uraih Heep. The Bulgarian support bands in 2006 were TE, Safo, BTR, Slang, Shturtsite and Ahat.

The second edition of the festival was called Lovech Music Fest 2007 and it was officially opened with a concert of Shturtsite. Popular names like Eruption, Hermes House Band, Supermax and Hot Chocolate participated in the festival program. Among the support bands and artists in 2007 were Familia Tonika, Silvia Katsarova & LZ, Mastilo, Desi Tenekedgieva, BTR and Inside. The culmination of the 2007 fest was the concert of Europe which was attended by approximately 50 000 fans at the central square in Lovech.
