VIVACOM provided free telecommunication services to all its private customers in Mizia after the floods

As a mark of sympathy for the victims of the floods in Mizia in August 2014, VIVACOM provided free telecommunication services to all its private customers in the city. For a period of three months all its clients received free mobile and fixed phone services, internet and TV. Moreover, the company replaced all the damaged telecommunication, internet and TV equipment in the affected area. The total amount of services that VIVACOM provided to the victims accounted for more than 50 000 BGN.

As part of its internal program VIVACOM Cares, the company provides the opportunity to its employees to engage in various charitable initiatives. In Mizia VIVACOM employees proved once again that they are active and devoted volunteers. For four consecutive weekends more than 60 volunteers from all around the country helped the locals clean their houses, removed destroyed furniture and sort construction materials. VIVACOM also launched an internal donation campaign which aimed to raise money for the victims. All the money donated by the employees were then doubled by the company and granted to the Bulgarian Charity Aid Foundation. The total amount raised was 15 000 BGN.
